When will BOOSTEZ be punished???

I am posting this in this forum because this seems to be the place where BOOSTEZ roams the most. Seriously I am sick and tired of him dragging so many threads off topic with his haterade toward the EVO X. I understand everybody is entitled to their opinion, but there comes a point when someone's opinion is so obviously bias toward their own personal agenda and belief system that it becomes absolutely worthless. Also if somebody would like to give their opinion, they can atleast give their opinion on the topic of the thread, this is something that BOOSTEZ has failed to do on so many situations. I realize I am not perfect I too have went off topic, but never to deliberately cause a thread to go off topic like BOOSTEZ has done many times.

Perfect example from thread titled "AGP Turbo's X.....NOW 84whp gain...update pg4 "-

Post #138 by Moderator Noize- "I just got finished cleaning another vendor's thread. Off topic stuff is restricted per the rules.

AGP is trying to bring some new products to market, and they don't need 4G63 and 4B11 bench racers cluttering up their thread.

Cleaning this thread is going to be a nightmare, so you can all bet I am going to be watching this thread closely and making sure there is no off topic junk in here, and issuing warnings and infractions from here against people who blatently disregard that."

Right after this post by the moderator, this is what BOOSTEZ has to contribute to the thread Post #145 by BOOSTEZ- "Another question. When are we going to see numbers that matter - drag times??? All this speculation over the engine and what it can do is poo compared to what the car can actually put down at the track. It's a good test of all of it's components working together - drivetrain, wheels, suspension, engine, etc.."

Another example in thread titled "EVO X tuned" here is BOOSTEZ first post and contribution to this thread- "Whatever you want to say. If the X can put 400whp on stock turbo (like some tuners are leading people to believe) when no other VIII/IX can, then I'll stand back and claim the X has a superior engine/turbo - mod-for-mod. And if the car can make 900whp on the stock block, then I'll claim that Mits has clearly superceded it's earlier engine generation - the 4G63. Until then.. I'll take Buschur's approach..."

What the hell is BOOSTEZ talking about, this thread is about the EVO X getting tuned, and he is talking about which is superior the EVO IX or EVO X? 900whp, WTF is this dude talking about?

Want another example, well here you go from the thread titled "AMS EVO X Test: Part Two - Boost Control and Fuel Pump test" AMS posted all of this-

"After it became very clear that the boost tapered off poorly the next course of action was a boost controller and also to check the condition of the factory Fuel Pump

Below is a statement by Martin Musial of AMS (President, Head tuner and Engineer)

"Well we quickly bypassed the factory boost control system, which oddly enough has two boost control solenoids. We set boost to peak at the same factory level of 22psi but this time it held to 16-17psi at redline. Peak power now climbed to 265-270whp, that’s more like it! So now we’re holding roughly the same boost or 1psi more than an EVO IX and we’re making 10-15whp more, looking good"

While we were tearing things apart we thought it would be a good idea to test the limits of the stock EVO X Fuel Pump

Again a statement from Martin:

"We pulled the fuel pump and threw it on fuel pump test rig. Running the voltage supply at 12V and then 14V we measured flow rates at various pressures, from 40psi up to 100psi. The results where a little surprising as the stock EVO X fuel pump flows about 15%-20% more than a stock EVO IX pump. Depending on what the stock injectors are rated at the EVO X could have a stock fuel system that is capable of handling over 350whp."

Stay tuned guys, we are not slowing down anytime soon LOL

Eric"

From all this info posted by AMS in a very informative thread, what does BOOSTEZ choose to quote- "So now we’re holding roughly the same boost or 1psi more than an EVO IX and we’re making 10-15whp more" and the response from BOOSTEZ- "I disagree here. The IX is still only peaking it's boost at 19psi. Wouldn't it be an apples-to-apples comparison if the IX had 23psi peak boost? This would make it hold even higher boost (than 16-17psi) to redline because the IX won't taper as much. I would gauge from peak boost not tapered boost."

This is pretty deliberate thread derailing. Just think about it, so let's say I post "Well BOOSTEZ, AMS isn't comparing the boost holding to a modded IX."
His reply, "Well it isn't an apple to apple comparison."
My reply, "It was never meant to be an apple to apple comparison, just an example of how the X is now holding boost better and they used a stock IX as an example."
His reply, "Well it seems like they are comparing their modded X to a stock IX and that isn't a true apple to apple comparison and not realistic."

This never happend, and is just a theoritical example, but you see how his one post, can easily cause the topic to go off topic and honestly I think he is doing this deliberately. There are so many more examples. I normally don't like to point people out like this, but I have grown tired of his very negative attitude, flaming, and deliberate attempts to destroy topics. I do not think he is listening to the moderators and it is getting worst before it gets better.

I agree dude. Everyone keeps bashing the X and ruining all the threads. If you want to talk ****, make a thread called lets talk **** about the X, and quit f***ing with the other ones.

actually he got the point there when he said both car should be run on the same psi. so 22 vs 22. at least for peak psi. Since they put boost controler in it. Don't you think?

Also let him to learn the hard way, the technology is always getting better, so the cars.
This debate remind me the VI vs VII back then.

imo, trolls deserved to be flamed. i remember some dumbass making a thread in the evo x general forum and putting up FALSE INFORMATION while hating on the X, not to mention the thread was absolutely worthless and just meant more clutter to the forums, and I called him out on it, and of course my post got deleted and i got some type of warning or penalty while his thread stood.

what i dont get , why so important to stock whp for him? Or in that matter for any one. Unless they dont planning to modify.
I was always look for the potentials in the cars , not just a car itself in the show room.
And i think the X have alots of potential, period. So it is a true follower for the previus models.
BUT i start reading these comments like, the X is the only real evolution ..

So i think it is VERY childish to critized previus or future models in the evolution line. Yes its been miss steps in these lines but that just make the evolution better. Personally i like all of them from the first one.

I have talked to BOOSTEZ quite a bit over the past 12 hours on PM and taken the appropriate action before that.

I believe he will comply and not threadjack in the future.

I'm going to close this thread, but I will tell you guys a few of the things I told BOOSTEZ:

What I want is for evolutionm to be the first place that all Lancer and Evolution owners to come and get good technical information without having to sift throught junk.

My only request is that you (all) post this IX/X comparo stuff in a dedicated IX/X debate thread and not in vendor threads or technical threads.

If you'd like, I'll even make a thread for all of you that compares the VIII and IX to the X and you can post in there all you want. Just stay on topic, don't flame each other, etc.

Seth

PS: In the same token, please do not antagonize BOOSTEZ. Calling him out in a thread he hasn't even appeared in yet is a great example. I think we can debate the finer points in ONE correct thread without trashing the EvoX forums.
