Actually pre ignition is used to describe a situation where the mixture lights well before it should (like from a glowing hot plug when it ignites the mixture well before the compression stroke is complete). Detonation is used to describe a condition where the mixture is ignited properly but the end gas (air fuel mixture) combusts spontaneously.

yes, please let us know when you'll be done with all the tests and are ready to release it to the public. Once I get my EVO X, I'm planning on keeping it stock and just bringing it to you guys for the flash and any other upgrades that will improve performance.

 

Evo's are no joke no matter what. This shows that evolving of the car boasts many positives and of course some negatives. But dang, imagine the supporting mods to that tune. It will be awesome for a X to be a 400hp DD without opening up the engine or changing turbos (as long as it can prove to be indestructable like the 4g63).

Anyway Shiv, have you had a chance to test the so called "April reflash" along with the Proceed to see if it made any kind of a significant difference?

If I pick one up I will be giving you or David a call...

 

Is the proceed for sale? Or is it still in testing?
