I remember one of the Mitsu service videos saying there's a capability to change the fluid and filter for maintenance.

It is a "sealed unit" in that it can't be taken apart and fixed. It can be serviced via new fluid and filter change.

Ahhh that's where I was confused. On the VW's DSG "sealed unit" meant there was no regular maintenance on the fluids for it, unless something went bad.

A DSG needs to be serviced every 40K miles at a cost of ~$400.

Hopefully we can get a writeup/pics to discuss servicing the fluid in the AYC. Not sure that it's any different than any normal rear diff fluid change...but it would be nice to know.

Quick question about the tire rotation. Is that sched for the stock summer tires? I would assume if i get some other all season tires i would have to rotate them less correct? I got Bridgestone Potenza RE960 i believe... the pole position all seasons.. anyway i don't have to rotate after 3k miles right? i could wait till 10k or so?

I see the SST is to be filled with DIA QUEEN SSTF-1 oil that can be hard to find - are there any other commercially available alternatives that would be suitable.
