AMS 373whp & 388whp -EVO X
I'm really impressed by the 4B11, this is very good power considering the limited modifications! With the AEM FIC fuel controller we're able to dial in the fuel curve and run the car at a more decent A/F ratio. For this round of tests we added a little bit of race gas to the mix and leaned it out a little more. Reducing the MAS sensor reading (leaning it out) also reduced the load, tricking the ECU into thinking we're running less boost and it runs at higher timing values.
Cranking the boost controller in give us 373whp on the first run!
The next run gets one more turn on the boost controller and a tad bit leaner on the A/F's.
I can't wait to be able to have control over the timing tables and cam timing. With the addition of cams and some other bolt-ons goodies we'll be seeing well over 400whp soon! I'm really not surprised as the head looks so much better than the 4G63.
Here is what I think is better on the 4B11 than the 4G63

For reference the turbo itself looks very similar to the VIII or IX turbo. I took measurements of the wheels and besides rotation (not reverse scroll) the wheels measure out almost identical.
