alright guys so i bought a 04 ww 8 with 32,000 miles on it like 4 weeks ago..i'm new to this but have done alot of research well last week my t-case started to whine well since it still under warranty i took it to the local dealership to have it replaced well after having the car for 2 day they said they would have to get with the rep about my warranty becuz they said that one of the clamps on the hoses that goes to the wastegate has been reused and they said it could of had a boost controller on it at some time or another i bought the car completely stock except 4 a turbo time this sound like bs to me just wanted to get you guys output!!!also if they dont warranty it out i know shepard is one of the best 4 the rebuild but i read that if its whining it will need a ring and pinion rebuild is this true ..

Yep, shep does the best tranny builds on the EVO. Not sure about the whining noise, all trannies whine a little bit so I'd have to hear it to know for sure. Oh, and not to be a dick, but you posted this in the wrong section. This is the EVO X section, and you obviously don't have a X, so pay more attention next time. The section you are looking for is further down the page and it clearly says evo 1-9 at the top. Either way I hope you get everything worked out.
