Project EVO X is coming along strong with a ton of new mods and some new products by Agency Power. As soon as we received the car, we sent off the OEM radiator hoses and blow off valve hose so we could have a nice high quality silicone hose kit. The BOV hose is one LONG hose designed to dress up your engine bay. The radiator hose kit is 3 pieces improving upon the factory rubber hoses. Each hose is 5 ply silicone and will be available in blue or red. If interested in purchasing this product, contact one of our sales reps at sales@vividracing.com.
Next we dialed in our Greddy Profec B Boost Controller which along with our intercooler pipe, intake kit, suction pipe, and exhaust with cat delete made a very impressive 310 all wheel horsepower which was near 70 over stock. The Greddy Profec B was mounted on the flat steering column for a clean look and easy adjustability. We installed the solenoid right next to the positive battery terminal.
Next we fitted one of our Agency Power 5spd Short Shifters in replacement of the factory unit. The steel short shifter is all CNC machined. Its extremely reduction in throw gives the car precise straight shifts between gears. It is slightly lower in height compared to stock. Because of the design of the EVO X's shifter cables, shifter bushings are not necessary.
Our final installation was with a prototype APR Carbon Fiber Wind Splitter. The wind splitter is a direct replacement for the factory under tray. Designed to improve downforce, the wind splitter also gives the under side of the car a more aerodynamic effect with its deep fitment. We utilized all OEM hardware and mounting positions.
Stay tuned for some upcoming carbon fiber engine products, suspension bits, and turbo kit as we continue to develop new innovative products for the new Mitsubishi EVO X. Will the short shifter be adjustable and how much shorter than stock in terms of throw and height? Lastly did it eliminate the notches when shifting for those who have the problem getting into 1st and 2nd at times?

Short shifter is non adjustable, it's still a prototype and I haven't gotten the chance to drive it yet, I'll post more on this item once I get some seat time.
