T1R 76S Exhaust Prototype Pics

Hi Everyone!

Development on the T1R 76S Sports Exhaust is nearing completion so I wanted to share some pics of the prototype.

The exhaust is a full cat back with a sports dual outlet muffler. The test pipe and down pipe are optional additions for more power. All pieces are 76mm / 3" OD, and 73mm / 2.87" ID and made from SUS304 full stainless steel.

The production pieces will be one piece piping (no welds as seen on the prototype pieces). The production exhaust tips will be the traditional T1R titanium burnt tips.

A single outlet race exhaust and a full titanium race exhaust are also in development.

Dyno's will be posted soon, depending on when we can get into our local dyno shop as they are busy preparing for the upcoming race season. Butt dyno on the full turbo back exhaust feels pretty good. 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear respond much better now, the turbo spooling more easily and none of the sluggish acceleration felt with the stock exhaust. High rpm power actually feels like it has power now, unlike the stock set up which felt like it was choking above 4500rpm. With the addition of an intake filter, the car felt substantially better than stock. Noise wise, at idle and normal driving conditions, the sound and decibel level is almost like stock. Under aggressive driving, exhaust note becomes snarly and aggressive. We will have full decibel testing and video clips up shortly.

Thanks!

Available pipe material for one, and most exhausts are advertised by their outer diameter anyways. Then you have see how thick the walls of the exhaust pipe used are. 1.5mm thick pipe is not too bad. Some of the brand name JDM exhausts are 2-3mm thickness, which equals a 4-6mm decrease in inner diameter.

For max power, we're working on a 90mm exhaust anyways.

very nice quality work, will the muffler bolt up to stock exhaust, or is this catback option, period?

Looks really good can't wait to see the final! Are you guys building this in house for T1R or are you just a distributer for their parts?
