Great 60ft and trap speed. That car is making great power to trap at 110+ and weighing over 3600. Once the ecu gets dialed in should easily hit low 12s, maybe 11s.

Maybe I'm the only one that is a little underwhelmed with the ET, but I do understand the challenge of launching this car with the stock clutch. I took my car to the track tonight and if I could have mustered a 1.79 60' I wouldn't have been that far off on ET with my bone stock X and I'm closer to 3850lbs with me in it. I think 13.2-13.3s are possible stock at 3800lbs if I could get the damn thing out of the hole without bogging to a 2.0

The MPH is promising. Based on what I experienced tonight, I bet you can get those ETs down to bottom 12s...maybe better with a clutch.

^^I dont't think you would get close to that time even with bad 60ft times. Am I only one that finds the weight to be light? Under 3600lbs with driver...thats not really that bad. I suppose all those mods remove alot of weight.

I was running mid 13s tonight with 2.0 60s completely bogging, and with better mph than my 05 that weighed 300lbs less. Under 3600 is light. That is where my fat *** was in my VIII. Our track is typically slow compared to others I have run on, but time will tell. If a boost controller and intake really adds 60 or so hp like people say...12s will be no problem with just those added.

Wow. Amazing for just some bolt-ons.

Do you think with Evo VIII gears you could have the best of all worlds?

Woulda, coulda, shoulda, there is a lot of that on EVOm.

The cars are said to be 300 pounds heavier than the EVO8-9's. This is a base model EVO8, no sunroof, no sound system, no navigation. Our exhaust takes about 40 pounds off. The FMIC is heavier than stock. The coil overs are a little lighter. When it was on the scale it was 3568 pounds. Thinking back I think that was without the driver. Maybe that was with me out.

I'll have to throw it back on the scales and see.

None of the GSRs have sunroofs. I don't. How much weight can a NAVI unit add really? I'm thinking the car isn't launching that great as the last models. The pill and lousy clutch maybe. The trap speeds are to low or what? Is it the really short gearing you think? Personally, the car is doing great in my opinion.

111mph is good with the giving bolt onsfor a trap speed. Just wondering what you think about my Stock X trap speed. I ran a 13.50 @ 103mph stock at 3700 ft above sea level with a 1.9 60 ft.

Did you guys run any other car than the EVO X? Get any times from anything else... your RS perhaps?
