I thought about the stress factor too but, I came across this post first and it put my mind at ease.

Nisei Engineering SINGLE-PIECE 1018 PROTOTYPE Upper Intercooler Pipe.

I love the fact that its one smooth mandrel-bent pipe stretching all the way from the turbo outlet all the way to the front mount. I track-tested this pipe at Streets of Willow this past Friday and it withstood the entire RPM range all day without any flex issues. Theres going to be ongoing testing before the final production piece but so far, its held up extremely well...

I dont have exact details as far as how much Nisei Engineering will be selling these for, but I do know that they will be coming out with these very soon in a variety of finishes along with some other major goodies along the way. For those of you who have had Nisei stuff in the past for your 8's and 9's, you know the high level of detail and quality that goes into their products... I know I loved all my Nisei pipes on my 9, and now on my X!!!

It's one of the best if not the best plus it comes with a lifetime warranty so, either way i'm covered.

1pc ftw, no worry about blowing out couplers! When you have the choice of going 1pc or 2pc, I've no clue why you'd want a 2 pc.

The 2 pcs pipes are $175 delivered. I took a look at their site and they've posted photos of the red. Check it out.

I'm still on the fence about the Nisei black or the red. I don't think I'll get the matte black though.
