It's really a prefrance IMO. some people like a responsive intake so they keep the stock intake and get a drop in filter. Some people like the Pssh sound and a little more power uptop so they go with a cone filter or Hot air intake. Then other people just like power and go with a cold air intake. This has some really good gains but the response is terrible. I allways preferred a cone or hot air intake because you still have a little responiveness and a little power. That is untill you get 80+degree days then you can feel the car chock with it!

KNowing AEM they will come out with a SRI first then a CAI. Not sure if they still produce like that. I know when they first started thats how they did it.

The more I look at all the intakes, the more I like AMS.

I think the colt speed one looks insane. Im sure it will be a ridiculous cost, but it may be worth it for the looks and quality. Looks alone would make me want to get it

Coltspeed is like $1690 but it is sexy as hell.

COBB Tuning also has a pretty damn good looking one in development

Yea, I've been eying that for weeks. I e-mailed them about it, but it's still in the "testing" phase... no estimated release date. On other cars they sell either just the intake, or the intake and the airbox as a package in the $275 range. A little high, maybe, but certainly a slick-looking part. Their exhaust looks nice too. I hope they hurry up.

Cobb one looks pretty sweet also. Not a pretty as the colt one but if it is one eighth the cost and it works good it will be a definite consideration

I really like that one with the cover. I dont we would have to deal with the rain/snow getting into the engine as some had pointed out on the general section.

1500 to some people is like 150 to others. This is probably for people that want the performance and something thats look amazing when u open the hood. I can truely say that nothing looks as sweet as the colt. For me though that is way to much money for only 20hp. Im more function over looks, but looks are super important

^Your looking at it wrong. The people who buy that $1500 intake don't want power as much as they want a show piece.
