I would say they are probably 2-3 weeks out. There are still people ordering them so when everything is up and running they are going to have a lot of work. They are working on getting everything going as soon as possible though.

That's a good question, unfortunately somebody from that side of the coast would have to answer that. In reality it is "illegal" to modify your exhaust so I would say no. That has not stopped anybody in Florida from buying exhaust though.

My understanding has always been that parts had to be CARB approved in California.

No sure about exhausts, since I haven't seen one thats specifically CARB approved.
I mainly think when it comes to exhausts its about DB rating and whether or not you still have a catalytic converter to pass the necessary smog requirements.

So generalization would be that a cat-back exhaust which meets DB requirements should be fine.

You can modify your exhaust in Cali.
1)Must be only a cat back. (no highflow cat ,testpipe, downpipe!)
2)Must be quiet I think the decibel level is 95DB or below (not 100% sure but right in that area)
3)The catback does not have to be CARB approved like intakes, etc.
4) Technically if you buy a catback you go to the ref and he takes a DB reading and gives you a certificate if you pass. So when a cop pulls you over you can show him.

I learned all this from hanging out with a state ref for 3 days getting my old civic to pass a bar/carb sticker for its motor swap!

Not 100% sure about dual to single but I think you will be fine.

Also I heard the state shut down ref stations temp. due to the economy so not sure how you can get a DB certificate right now!

Radioshack, decibel meter. $59 or something
And you can measure it together with the officer
And if you have a good time, then you can measure his car too.

Because i will run the car after tune, in Lime Rock, Pocono etc.
Most tracks have they noise restrictions and mine wouldn't pass it.
I had race set up IX RS with a Blitz nur spec TBE on it. I thought that was loud.
And with on that with installed resonator, i barely did go under the 89 dbl. Which is requires for LR.
This one, no way you pass it with test pipe set up.

So this is what i did. Got one MIL.SPEC racing high flow metallic cat and installed it. Weld it on.
Turn out to deeper more aggressive sound, and also toned the car down where i can assume it will pass the noise standards.
Plus i turned out to be one of the favorite person for green peace.

This thing looks super low, is it just that the car is lowered or does this have clearance issues? Just wondering on fitament, no one has commented too much on it. So fits great compared to stock? And what about ground clearance, above factory cross member or just slightly lower?

Also what kind of weight are we talking about with this guy? I'm sure its considerable lighter, but I am just curious.

To be honest I never weighed it but I will try to find out for you.

As far as clearance it seems low from the picture but I haven't had any problems with it.

Availability on these is much better. They are shipping within 1-2 days of payment now.
