I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about an in-tank high flow replacement option from bosch. I am not a fan of walbro, as I have had two fail back to back on me when I had my STi, leaving me stranded on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck (not a pleasant experience). Plus, they are loud and annoying with the constant whine, and lastly they don't even fit in the X's tank without modifying the housing which I don't want to do.

The guys at vivid were seeing that after all the basic bolt ons and a tune that IDCs were pretty much maxed out and that after installing a walbro (after a pain in the *** install with fabrication required) they went way down creating a greater margin of safety and power potential. I believe that mitch at vivid or someone else from some company said that there will be a bosch in tank option soon, and since it won't require modification and it is of better quality than walbro I am very interested in this. Anyone know anything?

 

Bump. So no vendors looking into this? I would imagine that since any customer that goes beyond the basic bolt ons is going to need this that it would be important to find some options for this soon, especially since turbo kits are already in the works.

 

i agree with you im sure a kit will be out soon enough
