BOV & Turbo way louder with HKS drop-in-normal?

Sorry for the noob question but with the HKS drop in I really can hear the turbo and BOV. Is this normal?

I have the HKS drop in it is not WAY LOUDER though. You do notice the turbo spool and are starting to hear the BOV but it is not that loud.

put a cone filter on and get rid of your stock box if you want to hear it get " WAY louder"
