Evolution With alot of power help

Hello, My cousin recently sold his porchse with over 500HP and he said he loved that feeling of having that ammount of horses, and he was thinking of buying an evo, since i already have an evo i let him drive it and he likes it, but he wants a lil bit more. He has around 10k to spend in mods, what should he purchase (engine mods) in order to achieve somewere around the low 600`s or high 500`s, i was thinking

-Twin Scroll Turbo 35r
- AMS INTAKE
- AMS FMIC
- AMS PIPING
- TBE (need suggestions)
- Tune
- BOV ( he loves that sound and really wants it lol )
- Clutch

I need help with suggestions please.

add meth/alky injection and you're set.
I'd maybe invest in a suspension set up too...that many ponies when you hit a bump....get some coilovers.

no it usually takes a little while to run out, but it will depend on how you set it up (PSI wise) and how much you are in the gas

I would do BPU's first and hold off on turbo's for now. A 35r will not be fun to drive. CBRD, Blouch, some other guy, and I'm sure Forced Performance are working on stock size turbo upgrades. I'm sure those would be good for 450+whp.

On second thought, if he's really bent on having that much power, I'd go for a used IX over a X at this point in time. The aftermarket for the CZ4A Evo just isn't there yet. Obviously the CT9A has plenty of aftermarket support and tuning approaches are well known. Why the heck did this guy sell his Porche to begin with?

^+1 on the FP...a green (or red) would def get you there, and cost half as much and be twice as much fun to drive. A 35r wont get you hard until 4k+.

He sold the porsche for really no reason , hes recently moved here so i guess thats one of the reasons, he just bought an RXP X ( 2008 with 255HP) by the way thats a 16k jetski , and a million dollar house, and his brother has ordered an m3 , so they didnt sell it for economical problems .

Well that's cool, I was just curious. At either rate, the Evo is a great car to modify. High power is attainable quite inexpensively when compared to ther cars. And the Evo responds very very well to each individual mod by the way of great power gains.

I know nothing about jetski's, lol - I was trying to figure out what the hell he bought as I was reading your post. Then I finally got to the, "by the way that's a 16K jetski," part.

That thing must haul some major ***! 255 hp on a jetski must be sick!

Well i would have to agree with this because there is only 1 evo x with over 500awhp right now. But if he can wait and dont mind about 450 awhp look at my sig. I am going to be running a 02 housing, down pipe, testpipe, cat back exhaust, Intake, FMIC, UICP, Aquamist meth/water injection system, dominatior 2 blouch turbo upgrade, Greddy EBC, ACT clutch, upgraded fuel pump On a dyno jet i should be well over 400 awhp maybe closer to 450 to 470 range. As soon as my car dyno's ill post it up.

And if your going to go this route for a used 8 or 9 then red is the way to go. Ever since the red came out the green is just a waste of money now.

+1 but I could be biased.

Seriously HP is just a number and the EVO Delivers it a little different than a porsche. He might want to just do some bolt ons and go from there. I would even suggest a 30R over a 35R at this point...the kit is made to swap turbos so it would be easy to go bigger if that is what he wanted down the road.

Have him call me here at the shop and I can walk him through some options.

Eric

But i'm not a tuner. Just my thought.
