Very cool pics!

To whoever brought up the K series style kit...It isn't going to happen on the X, unless ALOT of relocating is involved, even then it was too close for my comfort.

We anticipate this will fit the MR just fine.

Eric, yes, but can you do a simulation of flow comparison between yours (AMS) and OEM header? Such a comparison would document ,quantitatively, the gains achieved by the new design.

So, can this work on the X MR? And do you plan on testing it on the X MR?

There should be no reason why this will not fit on an MR but we have not test fit it so we cannot give you a solid answer.

As far as the flow testing of the manifolds. They are pretty far apart in design. One is a stock manifold designed to feed a stock turbo. Ours is a much larger unit designed to fee a much larger Garrett T3/T4 Turbo charger. I am sure ours will move air better but again...they are designed for two different kinds of setups.

Sure, When we get the pieces in I am sure we will be testing on the MR.

Currently, are you having these made? If so, when will they be available?

This looks like a sweet manifold.

We are having a test unit made now to make sure that the performance and fitment is where we want it. The kit itself will not be ready for quite some time. I would think in the 10-12 week area.

The long tube headers that place the turbo to the side is a much better design. Why try to cram it between the block and the firewall?

Regarding the price, $3999 should be more than enough for a 35R/40R kit. Its just pipes (schedule 10 i hope) and a $1200 Garrett turbo for crying out loud.

Where at all DO you see piping in this kit?

I see a nice big, cast manifold.

A 40R is considerably more than 1200 dollars, so is a 35R usually.
