AMS EVO X Turbo kit Development
I will be patiently waiting for a 35r kit...
again?????? uhhhh
just to clear the record we have never "blown" up any EVO X...any! I don't even have a CLUE as to where you would even come up with a statement like that.
We are having the header cast and that takes a decent amount of time. Sure we could make a tubular header but with the space constraints back there and the potential for VERY high heat issues we don't want to risk a safety hazard.
We anticipate having something ready near Christmas time taking into account the casting process and what not. Trust me it will be worth the wait!

Nah, that can't be machined. I bet it was rapid prototyped. When I was a co-op, the company I worked for had one of the first generation rapid prototyping machines. It took about 24 hrs to prototype a very small part. The steps were extremely coarse but now-a-days, you can buy a cheap and fast machine for your desk! I saw one online for $5,000.
Very nice. I know it's still a few months away, but can you give us any info on pricing. Even your targeted pricing... like <$3k or beteen $3K $5K, or $5+?? I want to have some idea of how much to budget for.
Also will this only be sold as a kit or can you purchase the manifold separately?

I really cant even give you a range on pricing right now as the kit is still being developed.
We are also unsure if we will sell the manifold outside the kit or not.

Ok Eric, I know you have to have some pics of the actual manifold and turbo kit by now. Can't you you just post up some more teasers to hold us over till christmas???? You know you can...
