I'm looking at getting an EBC for my X. Right now I'm considering the HKS EVC VI, the Greddy Profec B and the BLITZ SBC. I'm leaning towards the HKS based on what I've read. Is anyone else running an EBC? Any opinions/thoughts?

Also, since an EBC varies the boost, how will that work with a Tune such as ECUtek?

i just got the gizzmo ms-ibc from tuner tools ebay store and i really like it. easy to set up, has open and close loop, 6 boost presets that can be contolled by a remote button and a really nice scramble mode. but the hks is nice as well..

 

Yeah I think I might go with HKS also but I have been looking at the AEM TRU-BOOST on the side.

 

i hear the truboost is "ok" but i have never had one myself. i dont know how much psi you wanna run but the gizzmo ms-ibc goes to 3.5 bar sensor and has even been tested to work to a lil over 55psi. but if your two choices are the hks or the tru boost i would say the hks but thats me...but look into the gizzmo, you can get one for 350 from tuner tools and works really well. but good luck with whatever you choose..
