Got my Buschur Exhaust...my review.

Well I went and picked up my exhaust yesterday from Dyno4mance in Calhoun Ga. The guys at dyno4mance are awesome, nice, fun to talk with and from everything I could tell they do great work. I had them go ahead and install the exhaust and they did a great job, took the time to trim the head shield on the cat neatly, broke out the cutting wheel and really made the cut clean and neat, something I didn't expect and wasn't too worried about... But they are proud of the work they do and want to make sure they do it right the first time.

The exhaust is decent... about what I was expecting. Slip fit connectors needed to be reworked so they would slip on, maybe the box got beat up in shipping and ovalized the end of the pipe a little so it wouldn't slip on easily... The guys at dyno4mance took the time the day before to make sure they got the exhaust to fit together correctly so it would be a quick install.

The left side tip of my exhaust has a few dents in it... some were able to be popped out some weren't... they now go unnoticed but i know they are there... Its not all bad but perhaps a little more packing material is in order so other people don't get their tips beat up in shipping. The tips are nice and shiny and I think they are the right size and design for the back of the car so kudos to Buschur for making the right call on tips.

Sound: Sounds good. Not too loud, not too quiet. Best is cruising at 60-90mph and you don't really notice it, nice and quiet while cruising which is good for long drives on the highway. I will say that every sound clip of this exhaust doesn't really show the true sound of the exhaust... But it does sound good.

Power: Yeah you can feel a bit of a difference... its nice. definitely picked up a few horsepower.

I will be going back to Dyno4mance to get tuned soon... They seem real knowledgeable and I certainly trust them tuning my car, and it seems like they have been having great results.

John

Hey John,

Thanks for the props. We enjoyed your visit and look forward to seeing you again.

I have to say I was pleased with the way the exhaust sounded aswell. Not too loud not to quiet.

But the perrin exhaust is looking pretty nice, we'll see how that turns out.

But yes I am satisfied... it will get the job done for sure.

I ordered an exhaust July 14th and need to follow up if they got those exhaust tips in yet, seems they ran out and it delayed my build. Overall sounds like I made the right choice as far as performance and sound, now it's just a matter of getting one into my hands! LOL

yeah they are built when ordered, so it takes a bit of time between the time you pay and when it is shipped. I would say the wait is worth it.

There's probably some conspiracy out there where a bunch of competing vendors found out what exhaust tips they use and cleaned out all the suppliers...

I'll find out Monday what the status is, I'm sure they are doing what they can to keep the exhaust sales flowing, no pun intended...

they should probably take down the "In stock" thing on their website if this many people are still waiting for their exhaust LOL...

but as i said, its worth the wait, seems to be a pretty good system.

Yeah Andrew is a real nice guy, and he does seem really knowledgeable. And lets not forget Bruce; seems to be a great tuner and he drives an Evo X so he is really interested in getting the correct parts for his car and is spending tons of time on the dyno testing out different things.

The guy who installed my exhaust (i feel bad, i'm terrible with names) Also seemed to be a great guy... helped me bag up my old exhaust system and load it in the car... Overall Dyno4mance is a pretty sweet place.

Rumor has it they are having a get together for Evo's up at their shop in a month or so... should be a pretty great event.

Oh, i didn't consider ETS simply because it seemed much louder than what I was willing to deal with on a daily basis. I should have said "a quiet alternative"..
