Ultimate Racing High Flow Cat

I just ordered and received my UR High Flow cat with a wideband bung. I opened the box and there was only 1 bung. I was expecting to see 2 bungs, one for the stock O2 sensor either on the cat or behind it and one for the wideband before the cat. Am I wrong? There was only 1 bung behind the cat so it wouldn't make sense to hook up a wideband behind the cat since the A/F wouldn't be correct behind the cat. Does anyone here have an UR High Flow cat? Is this how UR makes them?

I went with the AMS test pipe since they have two bungs on them. I would buy a high flow cat if they had one bung up front and one in the rear.

Did you specify that you wanted a second bung? You have to do that when you order. I got my second bung on the down pipe, 90 degrees from the bung for the front 02 sensor.

Also, go ahead and install a mechanical 02 fix while you are at it, it will save you the trouble of adding it latter on. I have the metal substraight cat and it throws 420 codes daily bcause I did not bother to do a mechanical fix (spark plug antifowler).

Yes I ordered it with the bung and I'm working the issue out with UR right now.

I'm also ordering the O2 fix since you mentioned it, thanx for the advise!

You can see the dyno numbers we got out of it with tuning and without in the following thread if your interested, this was with the metal substraight cat (which I will be removing tonight):

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=358736

last graph in the first post, purple is the baseline, red is turboback with no tuning, blue is tuned.

I would go with the minimuffler testpipe over the cat, too much popping on decel with the cat, and the cat hurts the power from 7,000 and up, and it still throws 420 codes with the metal cat.

Yes, I got the metal cat but I was thinking that it would not throw the O2 CEL. If it throws the CEL, I'm sure it's not going to pass inspection here in Japan so I might as well have gotten the test pipe instead since I'd have to swap it out with the stocker for inspections. I wanted to get away from having to swap all the time.

Why can this not be flashed off permanently with ecutek? When I had my STi I put a test ppe on it and had that particular check engine code disabled when I had my car tuned with the access port. Can ecutek not do this?

Nope, not yet. I'm sure if it were as easy as it is a subaru it would be available, but it isn't so it isn't
