Question Exhaust Choice

what would you guys go with???: the Perrin cat-back/turbo back:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=353860

or with the buschur racing cat-back:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=342539

Both are around same price range but have a different design. Keep in mind I prefer both of these because of the dual option. Any suggestions/opinion would be appreciated.

I would go with Perrin because i have experience with perrin products and loved them. Plus perrin is the cat back i'm getting how do you know they're around the same price?

I know they are the around same price because I got a quote straight from both Buschur and Perrin. Actually Perrin is cheaper by $50(with the quote they gave me), but it looks like it may take a couple more weeks to be able to get it. I also wasnt sure about Perrin because I still haven't seen any dyno results from it. Have any of you guys come across any

It's all up to you. I personally am waiting for the AMS dual. But I'm an AMS guy now. It would probably be a lot easier for you to get all buschur parts. If you like their exhaust, I'd get it.

I would go with the Perrin. I don't think there are many pros and cons of going with either, just which you prefer. I am sure they will both make very similar power.

I am choosing Perrin because I like the design of the exhaust and think it will be quieter than the Buschur. If it is quiter and makes the same power, that is a big plus for me!

^ Yeah that's true, the Perrin will most likely be much quieter especially if you're going catless.

Go Perrin. (This is coming from a guy with the Buschur)... Why? The design... better clamps on the perrin, the resonator on the perrin is skinnier... the resonator on my Buschur sometimes bumps speed bumps (have to be going the perfect speed so the suspension compesses at the correct speed so it kisses the bump, but it does happen from time to time).

But i bet you can't go wrong with either... I am happy with my Buschur but there are a couple things i would change about it if I had the time and willingness to do it.

John

i would think more HP from the buschur because it only has the single small muffler vs the big perrin muffler. The perrin system looks way better and higher quality, but it may just be all the cool colors from welding. ha.

I just received and put on my Buschur tonight. Super easy install except for the heat shield around the flange on the cat which is no real problem if you have a dremmel and a cut off wheel. Sound is perfect for me. Nice and guttural at low rpms, great tone during acceleration, and almost unnoticeable cruising at 65. I can certainly feel the extra hp’s. No extra charge for shipping on that big ole box either.

Im going with Perrin. 1. Stealth FTW. 2. Should be quieter 3. I just like the connections better. 4. They take their time and and test stuff to no end even if it doesnt matter. 5. Its just my worthless opinion. 6. Im ordering the FMIC form Perrin in the morning the quality looks amazing and again its Stealth. 6. They have turboback ready.

I want to put in a qualifier though. Buschur Makes great stuff to Im sure. Perrin just fits what I want more.
