Well , I had a chance to get on the car late last night and today on the way in and all I can say is WOW !!!! even better then that last . I will get some dyno numbers in the next few days, and I sure expect even better gains then the last manifold we had on ...

Curious about the exhaust pairing. It looks like you have 1-2,3-4 paired. To best utilize the exhaust pulses in a twin scroll 4cyl. app., you should have 1-4,2-3 paired. Maybe I'm not seeing the picture correctly. At the same time, you do have the fastest X so far. Maybe the theory is just that...

Wow those headers glowing must be radiating insane heat! I guess if the gains from the headers erase any heat soak losses amd then some it's no big deal.

How would these hold up under a 20-30 min road racing track session?

We've tested both ways 4 times on the same car with different angle's , by far this is thw best manifold for the Exo X we have made so far and in some street testing its just an insane gain in real world conditions - truly a huge step-up from factory . On monday we're setting things up to do some dyno pulls using a stock X with just exhaust .

Today I had to get my driver over to take the car out just to make sure I'm not going crazy and he was also very impressed . After 4 months of testing this will be the final product .

Not sure where your "heat soak" theory may be at but you are correct in your thinking . The only times we have had any issues with our manifold is when the head is lifted or cracked and water is passed . For road racing you'll need just more bracing and some ceramic coating and you'll be fine . In-fact I got an order in form someone that will be doing just that and we have made many others in the pass as well. So far we have been running the car around town at just 20-21lbs and its just a huge gain from the old mani which its self was a huge gain over stock . In real world running the gains are just unreal . I do think that because of air flow we may not see a huge gain on a dyno unless we have lie 3 big fans right in front ; either way we're still trying it out . Having fans blowing in front of the car is NOT the same as driving down the track at 100mph+ or even 70mph+ ...

..

I got to drive the car yesterday and I can say there is a big difference in power. Normally I only drive it at the track on the high boost we run now, so to be impressed on the street with low boost means something. The car feels great, can't wait to get some slicks and run it again.

I also threw out some heat shield ideas, its going to be a great product once ready.

I was kinda curious about that too, shops here in Japan are going with the 1-4 & 2-3 setup too.

Either way, your product looks great! Do you plan on making a turbo outlet/downpipe combo too? Hope they'll fit on a JDM Evo.

funny but one of our manifolds looked pretty much like the one you just posted - didn't work out as well ... We have already made few few downpipe/O2 combo and those seem to be working out great as well .
