New Manifold for our car
Not sure where your "heat soak" theory may be at but you are correct in your thinking
. The only times we have had any issues with our manifold is when the head is lifted or cracked and water is passed . For road racing you'll need just more bracing and some ceramic coating and you'll be fine . In-fact I got an order in form someone that will be doing just that and we have made many others in the pass as well. So far we have been running the car around town at just 20-21lbs and its just a huge gain from the old mani which its self was a huge gain over stock . In real world running the gains are just unreal . I do think that because of air flow we may not see a huge gain on a dyno unless we have lie 3 big fans right in front ; either way we're still trying it out . Having fans blowing in front of the car is NOT the same as driving down the track at 100mph+ or even 70mph+ ...

All bracing will be included and so will the coating . We have done manifolds which have been running on car for years with no issues , we have only seen issues when a customer lifts the head and the motor passes water and if that happens at the right time it may crack the manifold . The manifold on my car was on for the last 16,800 miles running 30lbs at least once per day with zero issues . We actually test out our products very well BEFORE we sell any to a customer
PS : yes the XtremeBoost Evo X now has 17,000 miles of pure real world parts testing . We're getting ready to release a full product line for the Evo X which will be the longest tested parts on the market .
These headers with a Dominator 2 sized turbo and UR O2 Downpipe combo should be pretty nasty! That combo would need injectors and a fuel pump for sure but all that will have to wait until next spring for me.
That's amazing you already have 17k miles on the car!

Yeah , we have actually been testing parts out in real world conditions and at the track . Those 17K miles have done wonders for our knowledge of the car
..
Because we had some delays in other aspects of our business we have not been able to test in a stock car . Pretty much we have just one stock X that comes to our shop and we sure need to hurry because late this week or first thing next week he will no longer be stock . The change in air flow is immediately evident and once the car starts moving the change is unmistakable . Top-end is killer
We've had some rain here in FL which has backed us up due to late shipments and some of our staff not being able to leave their homes due to flooding but we do expect to get back on track within the next week and we'll surely get the manifold tested in a stock car .
