On the other hand you must have paid a pretty penny for that thing. I'm all for bling that works.
yeah , i'm jealous too.

That thing will plenty efficient for most people's goals. Quit hating just cuz its not Buschur or AMS, its different. If he wants to spend top dollar on JDM bling thats cool. If you want to spend half that on a huge AMS unit that is rated to 1500 whp thats cool too. Not to mention its ARC so if you've picked up a tuner mag in the last 5 years you'd know they dont make junk.

To each his own guys.

I was reading a post from Tom at ETS on the dsm forums, and he was saying a intercooler with a thick core and larger size does not allways affect lag and pressure drop. Its kinda how its engineered. I dont think lag is much of a problem with bigger intercoolers. Whats it going to take an extra millionth of a second to fill a bigger core. And most well engineered intercoolers (Buschur,Ams,etc.) might have 1 to 2 lbs of pressure drop. Anyway nice purchase, I'm sure it will do the job well.

Plus the ARC intercooler weights much less than any other intercoolers on the market.

I'd take that over my AGP FMIC anyday
My AGP FMIC is causing my water temps to rise in stop & go traffic. The ARC is suppose to be designed to actually run cooler water temps than the stock FMIC.

Aspec used an ARC intercooler on there evo build awhile back. I believe there car was pushing well over 500whp too. Never heard any complaints except the cost for ARC stuff.

Do you?

Compare all 3 Intercoolers, my money is on Buschur. We get more R&D research proof with Buschur & AMS than most any other product here, especially in comparison with a JDM product.

I love ARC parts though. They look fantastic, and I love how the can turn an engine bay into pure sex, although, if we want to be realistic here, $849 uicp for half the pipe, $647 for airbox's, $168 for a shift knob, can and will be beat by AMS/Buschur Parts for fractions of the cost. Thats just how it is, and always will be.

OP, nice piece. It will look good as a show car.
