Buschur Racing Evo X BR350

Great news. Today we got our first EVOX MR in here at the shop, that's good enough news but there's even more. This first MR is going to be built into a BR350 package.

This will be car #001 and it is going to be used as a demo for people to drive and see how they like it at Mentor Mitsubishi.

The baseline numbers we did today were done on the car with 337 miles on the clock.

The best HP we had was 211 whp and the best torque was 223.

We will be updating this post with information and pictures as the build takes makes progress.

Here is the baseline dyno sheets of the two runs we did. Runs were performed in 3rd gear.

The BR350 package is going to consist of the following:

BR 3" true dual cat back using the quiet Magnaflow muffler option
BR 2.5" polished uppper i/c pipe kit
BR air filter kit, carbon fiber air filter shield and air filter bracket
BR Race FMIC
BR350 badging

This is going to make for a great running EVO X!!

Is the 350 going to stand for the HP numbers? Is a tune something you guys looking to add to these cars down the road?

Does your dyno read low, or is it because the motor is still tight?

I would imagine it would come with a flash to optimize the mods. Not sure how that will work with the ECUTek licensing fees though for future tunes?

Excellent project though BR

We will be building the MR lower i/c pipe while this car is here. Should have something in a few weeks ready to sell.

Our dyno reads low for sure. This car is a little under what our EVO X, 5 speed made which was 225/245, I'd expect the auto trans to be lower though.

I didn't see a ECUtek tune mentioned on the list, but the parts would likely get the car up another 40-50 crank HP based on dyno numbers I've seen. One thing they could do is test a few modified MAF housing pieces and see how the AF ratio is leaned out with each one. Looks like they have 10.0-10.5 AFR now and I know just going with the AMS intake pipe on my car got me in the 11.0-11.5 AFR range. I would imagine that would be good for another 10-20 HP to raise it from 291 to the 350 crank HP area. They could also just list the tune as an option to optimize what is there. Either way it's a great starting point of mods and would be very safe at those AF ratios.

We will not be discussing any tuning. The tuning was the issue that caused problems with Mitsubishi on the EVO8-9 BR330-BR350's.

We will do what we need to do to get these cars running safely and up to the advertised 350 hp.

Looks like both. The mustang dyno at Buschur Racing reads low compared to other dyno's (one reason it is always good to have a baseline) and the lowest reading EVO X's they have had are thier own shop car with very few miles on the clock, and this MR with very low miles on the clock.
