Any MR with LICP?

Actually .. the OE LICP is the same as the GSR I think ..
What happens with the aftermarket LICP is they straightened the piping going to the throttlebody .. and that causes the issue as it hits the gearbox ..
The LICP will clear everything with only a few mm shift to 1 side or downwards .. but currently if the LICP is straight to the throttlebody it will contact..

Hopefully this is not a difference in different market type fitment issues
This is the contact place..

This is the other view if you attempt to shift abit to clear .. Shift any more and the lower pipes don't line up to the outer IC pipe
Yeah seems like if they spent a little extra money to put a mandrel bend in there to clear that tranny better all would be fine, but I can understand the benefits of trying to make a straight run. Would it help to shorten the pipe at all at the spot where it turns towards the front of the car on the LICP? Maybe take off 1/2" or so and then rebead it? I have to say my clearance was awfully close to the clutch bleeder on my car and it wasn't until I forced the slave back as far as it could go and forced the LICP forward as much as possible that I got enough clearance to feel like it wasn't going to touch. I didn't shorten my LICP yet but even in my case removing 1/2" from the part that curves towards the front would have given me the flexibility in the couplers to clear the tranny better. PM me if you need more details.
