Sounds like what I have been looking for, but one question:

Will the boot fit over the aluminum knob height adjuster??

Yes it will.
All Cobb items are designed to work with OEM parts.

How much shorter in inches or mm is 15% over stock anyways, just curious.

The 15% shorter throw, is the length difference between you putting it from one gear into another. High on it can be adjusted separately from the throw. So you can have the shifter sit almost at stock height, or have it sit very low.

The cobb reduces throw by 15% and is a little more expensive see price above^^ Then again the cobb has the adjustablity over the works choices choices.... I would probably go with the works just because I am one of those people that will always be messing with adjustments if I got em

This part looks good. I wonder which would feel better though this or the Works part.
