15% reduced throw sounds pretty small to me considering how long the stock throw is. I have an RX7 with a C's shifter that reduced throw by about 35% and that it my opnion is still not super short. ANy reviews would be much appreciated and especially a comparo between the two.

Short is good. Stock shifter feels like I got the ole' four on the floor. Too long for me.

A long throw that is to short actually becomes a problem. Reason being is that it puts gears to close. So what will happens is down shifts from 5 to 4, and 3 to 2 will be a pain. And you will have one hell of a time going 5 to 3 as you might start catching 1 on accident.

weird question... does anyone hit their elbows of the arm rest when shifting? How about on the works?

...reason being is I have long arms and in manuals, I tend to hit the arm rest.

Thanks

I don't hit my arms, I am running the cobb short shifter. If you're hitting your elbow on your 1-2 and 3-4 shifts maybe you should consider raising the knob height?

BTW, Cobb isn't producing these anymore so if you want one you should hit up Rallysport, they still have a few. Cobb is not producing a lot of parts anymore, and instead their employee's who are making those parts they are discontinuing are going to branch out on their own to continue to make the parts they formerly made for Cobb is what I was told by Ben from Rallysport.

We do not have any more of these in stock and will not be seeing more from Cobb.

We will let you when a comparable unit becomes available.

Not to be a trouble maker here but I've had no issues shifting with my 30% reduction TWM short shifter.

IMO a 15% reduction is just not worth it, along with a short shifter that doesn't favor left-hand drive.
