I got some baseline numbers today but the weather cut short my testing along with family obligations.

My current boost taper is a 6 PSI loss from 4000 rpm compared to 7500 rpm with boost set to 24 psi in 5th gear. I verified this with the boost plots of my Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor along with videos of my boost gauge on third gear pulls. You can definitely tell that the turbo starts to taper at 5000 RPM's and reaches max flow of 36 lb/min airflow through the MAS at around 6500+.

I was able to verify that swapping in a Works BOV didn't improve taper at all but the car is pulling slightly better through the gears, possibly due to the old BOV leaking slightly. Assuming the weather clears up tomorrow I'll have some before and after data of upgrading to the Forge WG actuator. Hopefully I'll be able to dial in the boost setpoint to the same numbers without having to adjust it too much, as each time you need to wait for the car to cool down if you don't want to burn your skin.

I also plan on running at the drag strip on Wednesday night to see if it helps trap speeds.

how does installing your wastegate affect boost over the stock wastegate?

Anyone know what psi the stock bov starts to leak?

Its a loaded question because boost is also applied to the back of the valve (nipple). So do you test it with boost to the piston, vacuum to the nipple or boost to the piston with equal boost to the nipple?

That was my struggle when I tested the stock BOV with a slight crush with no boost signal. I could only manage 18 PSI before all the extra air was just being dumped out of the BOV, was kinda of funny. I may do the same test to see what max boost is on the Works BOV that has a stiffer spring, hopefully it will manage at least 20 PSI before it dumps all the airflow. If anyone else has done this test on a stock BOV without a crush I would be curious as to the results as well.

I think from what I've read, people have seen their stock BOV start to leak around 24 PSI with the signal line hooked up. If you are still using the stock turbo then that will only really effect boost levels below 5000 RPM unless you upgraded your actuator. Since not all the factory BOV's are identical I can imagine that some start leaking at 23 psi while others may be fine til 25 psi.
