Harman Motive EVO X Airbox

I just saw that they released this today, planning on getting it, thought I would inform the public. I already have every other part that Harman Motive offers, so I thought this would be a great addition.

PRODUCTS: Harman Motive Evo X Airbox

We’re happy to release our newest part for the Mitsubishi Evolution X. Designed to work with our Evo X intake system, the Harman Motive airbox draws cold air from the factory intake scoop and protects your intake from engine bay temps. Unlike systems that place the filter in the fender, the Harman Motive intake and airbox won’t be exposed to puddles or road debris ensuring years of trouble free use.

Harman Motive Evo X Airbox - $149

Developed on our Evo X time attack car, we saw gains in HP and TQ with this airbox on our in-house dyno along with a significant reduction in intake temps. Get your today or buy it in combo with our intake system.

And the COBB one.....

Only so many ways to make an airbox... granted, as they say, the devils are in the details and can't really make out any details from any of these pics.

Well, the Cobb prototype anyway. Their final design is just a plain cone filter like everyone else's.

The intake looks similar to the AMS intake, I wonder if it would fit on an AMS intake.

I think its a great addition, and I heard intake temps drop considerably.

SiC,

We designed the air box around our intake and it fits great. The filter can be monitored and cleaned from just taking of the lid. I’m not sure of the dimensions of the AMS intake so I couldn’t say if it would work or not…

Just order the Harmon Intake. It looks just like the AMS intake without the weld. The airbox look nice also... can we see a picture of the inside of the airbox? I'll definitely get this once they have the Carbon Fiber version made.

I don't think a CF version will be made, it just adds to the cost.

Hey [Mightygnu] since you have this install on your X can you take pics of the inside of the airbox? I would like to see how it looks before getting one myself.
