Its a testpipe, any companies with the CEL/SES fix will be fine!

 

its one of those special sideways jacks,.. i always wanted one of those.

 

so what HFC is the best to get??

 

would i see any gains to just install a testpipe w/stock exhaust.

If I were you I would leave the stock cat in place and just replace the catback unless you would do them both at the same time The stock muffler is more restrictive than the stock cat.

 

it is what makes the check engine light NOT come on

 

well i kinda figured that much, but how does it work to keep that from happening??

 

basically it doesn't allow the second o2 sensor to see as much of the exhaust flow so it thinks everything is clean and peachy.

This smell you guys are referring to; Do you smell it in the car while driving
or is it only when you're in enclosed spaces and/ or when you're driving behind the vehicle?

 

I live in alpharetta.... There is no gas where i live LOL, i haven't been able to find gas all week and currently have my evo parked in my garage waiting till I can find premium gas again.

I've been up to the mountains in my old car (Turbo MR-S) but haven't made it up in the evo as of yet.

I'm gonna be heading to Calhoun to visit Dyno4mance so i can get tuned by bruce, hopefully next weekend if there is Gas to be had. Put in an order early this week for some parts: AMS intercooler and UICP, UR Test Pipe, Cobb Turbo inlet.

Currently the car has a Buschur Exhaust, and a K&N panel filter. So hopefully with the addition of the new parts and a good tune I will throw down some decent numbers, hopefully north of 300whp, but Dyno4mance's dyno is a dream crusher dyno and reads pretty low from what I have heard...

yea man this gas shortage is BS aint it!!! i've been lucky with supreme got 2 gas stations that has it thanks goodness!! i deliver mail and finding gas sucks lol!!! my evo is full at the moment!!! been having to get up at 4 am to get gas without waitin 2 hours!!

yea let me know how your tune goes cause thats where ima going for mine as well, when i get everything done!! heard good things bout Dyno4mance!!

keep in touch man foreal, come up to the mountains when there's gas and we'll ride around!! hell ima the only around that i know of that has an evo x around here!! i've only seen 1 on the road!! be nice to get up with someone else and ride!!!
