so i go to the dealership to go get a reflash and i am told i cant because they dont apply to the MR...... so i take the tech for a drive and show him that i do need one and he is like yes you do..... and then i tell him about the boost fluttering and he says there is a boost leak somewhere! he checked the hoses and got on the phone with mitsu tech line or something to ask an engineer about how to reflash the MR?? took 3 1/2 hours and i had to leave with no reflash and on top of that i live an hour away from the damn dealership!!!

The flash may only work on the GSR because it is likely the GSR and MR have different ROM images due to the different transmission, etc. Regardless of whether the fix in the GSR ROM would help your MR or not, the flash file the dealer has would possibly leave your MR in a non-working state.

What exactly is the issue? Just the boost problem?

what is the gsr flash for

i live in canada and my dealer knows nothing about any flash is it for the american model or for any gsr evo and what does it do thankyou

erratic idle, super rich up top/bogging

unstable idle and and 5k hesitation also the boost problem it sounds like boost flutter at partial throttle
