What Clutch do you recommed

Hi everyone,

I have a 2004 EVO VIII with 40K on the car... i still have the STOCK Clutch. I do about 12 HPDE's schools a year maybe about 20 total track days and that is a lot for me.

I drive the car 2-3 days a week I'm looking to replace the STOCK CLUTCH with a new one... i hear TWINX and F3.2 etc...

the stock one works just fine for my purposes... i never launch, and i don't street race.

so now i'm asking the large community what you think.... experience good ones bad ones... my engine is totally stock... the car has all suspension mod's... for track purposes.

thanks everyone.

Sounds like HDSS is the best bet...

Oh and an Evo 8 question in the Evo X forum? Priceless...

For the price, drivability with your mods... ACT HDSS. I'd consider adding the ACT streetlite flywheel at the same time.

I've been running this cluth and flywheel for the last 8,000 miles. I like it better than stock. Even on the 405 during bumper to bumper traffic in LA, it's no worse than the stock clutch.
