Spark Tech's EVO X C.O.P/CDI Ignition at SEMA
We had to have connectors custom made to make the system PnP. That was the only way we would release this system. The original design on the BVP car worked excellent from day one, we just couldn't see cutting into a X harness or butt connecting or anything other than PnP.
We won't ever sacrifice Quality to make a buck. We've also been waiting on the Evo X aftermarket parts to catch up to this mod. Now that Evo X's are making big power and requiring .015 plug gap just to make a pass, we think it's time for more fire power
COMING SOON...The first and only Evo X COP/CDI system.

Any testing on how much you can open up the spark plug gap with a SparkTech ignition system compared to stock. I know that stock you need to stay below .023 to have it run properly.
We have customers running our non-cdi cop making 600whp with .030 plug gaps.
We also have customers making 800whp on cdi systems running .032
Unfortunately there is no set plug gap, what works for one combo may not work for the other. Depending on compression ration, AFR's, ambient temp you may need to gap down a bit more than the next guy. Typically richer afr's require smaller plug gaps.
We can get you very close to what gap will be optimum according to your mods (free consultation )

Mounting plates are at the powder coaters, standard wrinkle black. It was quicker to polish.
Pricing hasn't changed $1550 without billet caps.
