Damn you O2!

so im trying to install my test pipe and freakin i cant get the o2 off! the other bolt are easier with a little of pb plaster but ive soaks, hammered, jerk and it wont even move. am i turn it the right way? righty tighty lefty loosy right? or just is the other way around. ive heard that its cross thread...what does that even mean. so now i have to take it in and have it install! im also working in a tight area just a couple of jacks. if i had a lift itll be easier. any sugestions?

A lot of people are having this problem with cross threading. Just take it to a shop.

A shop destroyed mine to. I need to order a new sensor I think. This was a very reputable shop.

When I installed mine i took the radiator out to have a little more room to work. I used pb blaster and then I used air. I wouldnt of attempted this without air

Get yourself a handheld propane torch from Walmart for $20. Heat up the area around the O2 and it just pops right off.

it took me awhile to figure it out on the X the turbo is in the back but im pretty sure on the previous model its the same pitb to get out.

Yep killled mine tryin to get it off. Try heating it up but don't over do it. Luckily this one is the cheap one.

update! the install didnt take long! 30 minutes max, the guy use an o2 wrench that he showed me, of course i had to pick one up myself im pretty sure i help him out by soak the bolts in pb plaster overnight. I have to say i have a good combo on with my system...

mods: new ichiba tp, Works stealth exhaust and tune, AEM intake and soon to come in a couple of hourse my uicp.

on the dyno im putting down 308hp with just the aem, tune, and works exhaust. im going for the stealth and quiet look and so far so good.

You're not alone... O2 sensor stripped on us before also. It actually helps a lot to work on it when it's hot.

Key word HOT guys, do it while is hot and it should give. Get some PB blaster too.
