Different oil

Anyone switch synthetic oils with good results? i am thinking of going to Royal Purple 5w-30 synthetic. Any complications on this car from switching oils? I know these cars can be weird with the littlest things

He's trying it out because Mobil 1 only gives him like 2k miles on a change.

I would not go too much into this oil makes more HP than the other unless is some cheap oil. Mobil 1 and most top oils like it, are pretty close. But yes some articles claim more HP than 5 from switching to RP, or the brand they might be endorsing.
