Yeah, I know some people that actually tested the UR on a RHD and it didn't clear.

Michael i'm sorry if it was meant to be kept secret
Jonathan you let the secert out of the bag! haha.. I'm glad you are happy with the finished product! I can't wait to see your car with the complete exhaust system!

Once we are done testing I will have dyno results posted! We have a couple other products planned for the Evolution X that should be released shortly!

It's always good to see the customers post pictures before we can!

Thanks,

Michael

Flow disturbance .. a non separated combined housing causes a turbulent bottleneck at where the exhaust flows come together ..

A smoother exit flow or a better designed combined flow housing allows the exhaust gases to mix back with little tumble and allow freer flowing exhaust gases ..

A complete atmospheric dump is of course best but no way it can be used for anything but offroad ..

The next best is this .. where the tube dumps back into the exhaust stream further away from highest flow exit.. I would prefer further back .. but seems like its a clearance limitation ..

I hope the OP can chime back once he fitted it .. my analysis of this is the OP will experience a really quick spooling turbo and probably a slight increase in top end .. hope he doesn't prove me wrong !!

With a decat and a stock exhaust, I'm already capable of 26psi at 2400rpms .. man I can't imagine if I have that !!

Cobbs’s philosophy on exhaust design…talks about pros and cons of separated flow for the waste gate.

Micheal, if I'm not mistaken you're doing all the fab work in house... if so would it be possible to have you not re-route it back into the downpipe and have it dump externally? Also is that a 3" downpipe?

Thanks,
Joe

We haven't had the chance to dyno the new o2/downpipe yet. I should have those results shortly. I believe the X is being tuned right now.

I can't say if it will clear RHD or not, since we don't have a RHD car, but I can post up pics of the product installed.

The one in the picture is a custom unit, but we are planning on making a revision to allow the factory heat shield to be used. The one in the picture will allow you to use the upper heat shield that covers the manifold.

The current price is going to be around $440.00

Joe -

Yup! We build everything in house. We plan on building an o2 housing that dumps to the atmosphere. The price will be the same as the unit pictured above. $440.00. The downpipe is 3" all the way through.

Thanks,

Michael

A picture speaks a thousand words

I checked the clearance between the OE pipe and the steering rack .. we got probably less than 1/2" clearance

Can you put back the lower heatshield?
Really close to the steering rack

Consider putting a tongue divider between the wastegate and the turbine?

Very very nice. Just wondering though is the WG pipe can be angled to merge with the a little less angle.
