Will an IX exhaust fit an X?

Just like the title says. Will an IX exhaust fit an X.

I know it wouldnt fit easily otherwise there would be quite a few of us that wouldve tried it.

Has anyone tried to fit it? Is it way off?

You can make anything "work"... But it wouldn't be pretty

Just buy an exhaust made for the X... Otherwise one exhaust hole might get lonely

I think thats the questions many are asking out there... with the darker color of the diffuser, i think the single outlet may not look that bad.

I do agree, its gawd awful when you see it on a G35, 350 and or S2k. But seeing all the pics of the others here, it actually looks good!!

have to disagree on the s2k i seen sum with singles and i think they look better without the duals. i think the x looks more aggressive with the single then duals. i just have to ask one question why is everyone hating the can? when have evos ever had duals? never, all imports have cans now all of sudden everybody is taking about how they dont want a ugly fart can when evos always had the can. off topic had to get off my chest it annoys me sometimes hearing ppl talk about it.

Because fart cans are for civics.

And take a look at the real competition for the X: the M3. It has QUAD tips (but really is a dual exhaust).

Personally I think single on the X looks dippy, but if you like it, go for it. Also "JDM lean", blued tips and annoyingly loud buzzy exhausts get a big thumbs down from me.

last quote, na thats cool everyone has a right to their opinion. i'm wondering have you seen one in person yet with single exhaust? they dont look as bad in person. Bmw is known for luxury mitsu is not, have refined is the evo with a big *** spoiler and rear diffuser on the back. IMO you might as well slap a can on the back.

back to the thread why would you want to do that? there are single exhaust out there for the x at reasonable prices. im sure you can just sell the exhaust if you just traded you evo in and have it left over

Don't let silly little things like an entirely new chassis and the exhaust being on the firewall side get in your way. I'm sure if you have a welder, hack saw and a tubing bender you can make it fit.

Never said it was easy... lol! If it wasnt an easy fit, I would never do it. I just cant justify that every "jdm" exhuast option out there is 1500++

lol. Not even close. You my as well just cut the muffler off and make a whole new exhaust from scratch if you want to make the IX exhaust fit on your X.
