Question on HKS IC Piping

Installed the HKS IC piping today, and when the turbo kicks in you can hear a growling noise, normal? Never had a car with an IC before so I wouldn't know...

The car sounds normal under light driving, btw. It doesn't sound bad to be honest, but just to be sure...

Not sure but does the turbo spool up quicker now? I don't know what the purpose of the pipes are power/spool?

Definitely spools up quicker. The noise was more air flowing I assumed, but maybe I'm wrong. Somebody's gotta know...

Did you buy the intercooler kit? I was under the impression you only get the LICP if you buy the kit that comes with the Type-R intercooler.

growling I don't know, but you should hear a noteable sound coming from the UICP. When I installed mine it made a sound like wind be sucked through a vacuum. But it is normal.

Hmm... yeah it's deep. I assume it's normal since everything is installed correctly. And it only sounds this way when the turbo kicks in. A vacuum is a good description as well

That's normal, the stock rubber hoses just muffle the sound.
