You can get to it through the wheel well for cleaning.

Well the new twin disc clutch is installed.

What a pleasant way to spend a Sunday mourning .

Now to bolt on the new turbo set up, button up a few loose ends and on the dyno.

We should have numbers later in the week on the complete set up less cams and then with cams next week.

I will post the dyno's for the FMIC, CAI, and piping Monday.

Just left the dyno...Still have some more tuning left on pump gas but called it a nite (Thanks to Tony@ UMS tuning).

Setup is:

AFI Twin Scroll GT35R kit (1.06 T4 housing)
AFI 3" Downpipe
AFI external Dumptubes
AFI 1000whp FMIC
AFI Upper charge pipe kit
AFI Lower charge pipe kit
AFI cold air intake
AFI High flow fuel rail
AFI Billet motor mounts
1000cc injectors
Tial 38 MVS wastegates
Tial alpha Q BOV
Exedy Twin disc

We feel the car still has some left in it on pump, just playing with the software some more. Then we will do the race gas tune.

Boost crept slightly to 24psi. Remember this is west coast 91 octane We also have some kelford stage 2 cams/springs on the way

I was expecting a little more but still nice numbers, after the cams and more tuning this thing should wake right up.

the tq cure looks nice and consistant.

^ you got to take into account , the AR of the Exhaust housing.... this thing is being built for race gas and very high boost levels... (correct me if im wrong) .. so it may sacrifice some pump gas numbers.... but as soon as the boost kicks in on a high psi map.... your gonna see these numbers in the high 600+ whp.

450awhp on 91 pump was our goal. 441 is almost there...the car is still on the dyno

Couple things to note:

Power is still climbing with the 1.06 THSG. Simply revving the car another 300rpms coulda/woulda/shoulda put it ~ 455awhp..I know a couple others who are taking their X's past 8k...This housing won't fall off...cams..maybe but the Kelford 214-b's will be in soon.

91 octane isn't 93/94 octane. You can't give it the timing 93/94 octane would like. I know the car would make quite a bit more tq on better gas, obviously better tq = higher numbers.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here but i'm pretty confident 480-490 is do-able with cams on 91 octane. 500+ on 93....might have to put some 93 in the car for all the east coast comparisions
