A moderate upgrade would be the Metal Stock MR Blow-Off Valve; if you don't already have one.
if WHP is at 400, I am guessing the torque is gonna be around 360 at the very least. 360 is about the maximum rated torque capacity for the SST transmission on the new MR.

Actually is more like 345 to 350 and that's rated at the crank not at the wheels.

Again this is per Gegtrag not me, go huff and puff to someone else MR owners.

I can't tell if you are agreeing or arguing about my statement. I myself drive a GSR. My point anyway is that he is already at the upper limit of the torque capacity of the SST in his MR, if not over it. Why would he be looking for more power upgrades? I just don't understand the reasoning for his quest for a BOV, which I consider a power upgrade. I'd rather wait and see what the proven limits of the SST are before going further with upgrades, may be even spend a bit on show-n-shine instead in the meantime.

+1 for keeping stocker, had SSQV full Recirc and with tune, destroyed all drivability of the car, placing the stocker back on solved it, note that there is a computer issue right now with these cars getting tuned, it messes up the part throttle settings, still waiting for Jon at HB Speed to solve mine

I prefer the stock for performance. If the stock sounded like the HKS SSQV that'd be frikin' awesome.

It all comes down to your goal, you want 400+ then you'll need an aftermarket bov (forge, synapse) if you want the sound then just get an intake with cone filter. Keep the stocker because it really can't be beat until high hp. You can a vta but may have problems, hks ssq you should be fine, they have an anti stall kit for it also.

I am aiming for much more than 400 in the long run. My question about the BOV was because of the torque situation? i wanted to know where the peak was with stock BOV at what torque level.

I've got a Turbo Concepts and works great. Non recirc and zero problems. I just wanted one to clean up the engine bay. Hate all the hoses just to recirc the valve.
