Official Evolution X Exhaust Thread
can anyone with the buschur bullet muffler catback installed take a picture of it installed and show me the clearance by the driveshaft. i have a driveshaft shop 3 inch aluminum piece and i want to know if this exhaust will clear with no problems. Thanks a lot in advance.
removal of cat converter from stock pipe
I don't know if this is a stupid question, but I'm thinking of removing the catalyst converter from my fq 300 sst stock pipe. but i want to know if it can work and if that would damage the car in any ways. I want to do so in the next 2 to 3 days. so if any information i would appreciate before i do so. thanks.
You'll get an O2 sensor error unless you go to a j bend / spacer for the sensor or disable it via a tune. Not familiar with the FQ330 tune, but in the states they have a rich tune. Removing the cat (if that is your ONLY mod) shouldn't harm it. Still highly recommended to get a tune to go with going catless though.
Our La FLama Blanca Project recently got some goodies from Tomei! We installed the following:
-Tomei Expreme Ti Titanium Catback Exhaust Mitsubishi EVO X 2008-2013
-Tomei Expreme Ti Titanium Test Pipe Mitsubishi EVO X 2008-2013
-Tomei Expreme Downpipe Big Mouth Mitsubishi EVO X 2008-2013

And a sound video:
Thanks,
Jasmin

It does look and sound amazing. Hearing and seeing it in person though really makes you appreciate the quality of these parts.
Unfortunately they only do single exit exhaust in Titanium for the lightest possible exhaust you can get
Let me know if you have any other questions.
