Parts combination?

I am planning on finally getting tuned and want to get some parts on my car on a budget before hand. I am looking to put a parts list together that would work well together while providing good gains. I have a couple things picked out but I am still checking out intakes and wanted to hear what other people thought.

1. I have decided to get the Neisi upper IC pipe in Matte black 1 peice. Heard this is good for around 8whp on a tuned car.

2. Also looking getting the Ultimate Racing test pipe. I am keeping the stock exhaust but I still heard that a test pipe is good for 10 whp.

3. Intake- undecided. Maybe the Nisei but I dont see anyone running it. I like someother options out there but they are too much money$$$$

4. Prosport electric boost gauge

5. Maybe a MBC I would go with the Hallman but thinking about ECU based boost control.

I am wanting stock driveability and to keep the car quiet, that is why I am not going to get a exhaust. I got enough of a loud car on my EVO 8, but I did like the sound of a open element intake. So my biggest question is, is anyone using the Nisei intake and adding a filter. If so have any pics to post and what filter are you running? Thanks for the help>

I would get rid of the boost gauge and get a defi white racer. My prosport is not accurate at all in my RSX. I will definitely not purchase one for my evo x.

I have the Nisei 1pc. UICP in matte black and love it. The build quality is perfect, and the price is great. You can't beat it. It also flows very well.

On the other hand, I installed my prosport electric boost guage and then monitored intake pressure readings with my snap-on modis and the guage was dead on (considering the guage doesn't really display 20.2 or 20.4).

Probably, a few autometer mechanical gauges I've used have been off 2-3psi. The only point I was trying to make is someone doesn't have to spend $200 to have a relatively accurate gauge.
