So my clutch finally went......
-I had 12,000 miles on my stock clutch. 350whp/340 torque and lots of abuse because i can't drive my car like a normal human being. I was originally selling the car but decided to keep it..now the madness begins!
-As far as the job goes.. its different from a 8 and 9. (i've done numerous clutches on 8's and 9's). Considering this is my 1st X, i think it went pretty smooth; however, i would not recommend anyone doing this job unless mechanically inclind. The main difference from this and a 8-9 are the heat shields and transfer case setup, but other than that...not so bad.

yeah i drive my 06 IX MR like a madman too. i autocross, road race, drag, and drive like i stole it everytime i get behind the wheel. my stocker lasted a little over 70k before it started slipping, and i swapped it out. i'm at 120k now and the exedy stage 1 i put in is doing fine.
-Annoying undertray to remove
-Annoying ACD line on transfer case (must remove for access to t-case bolt)
-Heavy a$$ transmission lol
Good luck
