I just installed the greddy spectrum elite exhaust. I love it! But everyone says you need a "test pipe" to open it up......So any one you guys recommend?

 

test pipe (aka running catless) will = harder to pass inspection here in Texas. Just be prepared for that.

I like the UR pipe.

 

There is no such thing as a "best test pipe". At this point, it's almost fair to say a test pipe is a test pipe. You can get it catted, catless, no resonator, resonated or with a mini-muffler (UR only) and there are over 15 manufacturers to choose from. Enjoy your search.

 

The straighter the better. IMO and make sure its the same diameter as your exhaust, so its the best flowing for your system.

 

Ok, guess i'm a newby. its my 1st car im modding/fixing up. I have UR lower ICP. haven't installed yet. but what's the UR mini muffler? Will any test pipes make engine codes come on?

 

It shouldn't but each car is different . Mini muffler, should quite down the entire exhaust system. Since a test pipe tends to make the car louder.

 

UR, Agency Power, AMS. Can't really go wrong with any but UR gives you the option of a resonator or mini muffer.
