I'm wondering whether 4 db differential between the single and dual AMS is really a significant reduction in sound. What are the db levels with the OEM dual? For it is this differential that will determine whether you are pulled over or not. My AMS single is loud, not so much at idle but when downshifting and under boost.

In terms of sound, 3dB higher would be twice as loud. The human ears may perceive things differently than that of a SPL meter. Different frequencies will have different impact on what the brain deems as "loud". Hope this helps.

i wonder how well the dual exhaust will perform with higher hp's? am i thinking this one too much? it would seem that the dual will perform the same up to a certain point and then start degrading.
