Weird engine idle Evo X

So today for the 1st time I noticed my engine idling real weird. Around 1k-1.5k rpms my idle was going back and forth at a semi rapid pace. I only have 700 miles on my beast, so is this normal? Other than the idle everything else seemed normal. I've heard of X's having idle issues, but this looked scary!

Same here Project_Evo. Bounces around but does sort itself out. I thought I read somewhere a tune will correct this.

Yea I've heard the Evo X had idle problems but wasnt expecting that! I was scared for her life when I seen that!!!! LOL. I think it's normal but just wanted to make sure. I have heard that a tune helps the idle a whole lot 2.

I had that problem after doing some work on my car and turned out that the vacuum hose between my intake manifold and fuel pressure regulator had popped off.

Yea it was at a complete stop. Maybe I'll have to look into a tune after a few thousand miles =) I've heard w/the stock garbage tune the X idle's funny, so although I was bit worried I fidgured it was normal.

Ohhh and my Evo is completely stock.
