Get the high flow cat first, it should be able to bolt up to anything else you get in that area, and it will help free up some space.

I've read a few places that the dp on the Evo Xs aren't that restrictive, but I could be wrong. I know our DP is one of the first/best things to replace, but it has the cat built in.

 

I believe Perrin has a piece where it's both the DP and HFC in 1. But if you're planning to do one or the other, HFC is my bet since it's the most restrictive part of the exhaust system.

 

Who has the best deals on a HFC?
