Engine warning light with new TBE

Hey all,

Has anyone fitted a full turbo back exhaust and/or filter kit and had their engine warning light come on? I've had my new exhaust and HKS racing reloaded on for the last few days without issue, runs fine etc but today the light had decided to come on.

The book lists it either being emissions, SST (mines manual) or engine management - so atm I'm thinking it's either A/R due to the intake or emissions due to the exhaust.

Exhaust has hi flow cat, has a bung in the bottom of the front pipe and one after the cat, so it's all above board. Just curious to see if anyone has run across this before and if so what they've done to rid themselves of the problem.

I'm going to swing it past my dealer in the next few days when I have time, and it'll be parked up until then.

Appreciate any help in advance.

I don't think you have a problem, It's probably one of your sensors, not reading correctly, did you remove any? Before I upgraded to my AEM I had issues like that on my stock ECU, stock MAF, and Apexi exhaust. It was tuned but the check engine light would stay on.

Post the code man,

Asking for advice without knowing the code number is about useless since your not sure what the code is. Any of us that have a shop manual can tell you exactly what the issue is if you post the code number.

You can go to autozone and have them pull the code, but don't listen to anything other than the code number, and post the code number here, as the description they will give you will either be wrong or confuse the issue.

I agree it is most likely to be a cat inefficiency code, but agin, no need to wounder when you can have the code pulled.
