I want to starting making some mods, but am not sure where to start. I don't want to do anything to engine internals or change the boost levels. I was definitely thinking of doing a Cobb AP with a dyno tune, and an exhaust.

What else? I'd like to hit 350 WHP after the dyno tune on 91 octane gas.

Money is not a big deal, but I'm obviously not looking to just spend - I want to only worry about the stuff that makes sense and has a noticeable difference.

I heard "the search" button is good first thing to start with.

There are tons of threads as the others are eluding to. I will mention that you will have a tough time to get 350whp without modifying boost. Go to Buschurracing.com and check out their staged packages. You would likely want to go to stage 3 and get a tune and see where you land.

Full catless TBE, Stage 2 protune, intake, UICP, and a Turbo inlet might get you there.

not without adjusting boost, which the OP doesn't seem inclined to do.

Yeah to reach that without upping boost, you'll need a turbo with a higher-flowing compressor. An FP Red may do it.

Air filter and exhaust+test pipe make a huge difference, great starting point imo

Thanks for contributing nothing.

Everyone else, thanks for the quick responses. I just wanted a good feel for where to head in terms of what I should be looking at.

I am thinking of going with:
- Cobb AP
- Drop in filter
- Catback exhaust
- Test pipe or high flow cat., not sure which yet.

Boost controller (KEY) fuel pump, TBE (Catless), drop in filter if you want, NICE TUNE! (of your choice), maybe some hard piping for your intercooler smoother spool (Core itself if you want)?, and just put some cams lol!!! Lop Lop Lop Lop LOL!!!!
That was my setup worked perfectly borke the 350 range, and fun to drive before i sold it. ( <----- DUMB MOVE)
Cant wait to get my hands on another, this time around I want 500 range

I've been happy with my high flow cat. I DD my car and couldn't imagine what sort of damage I would do with more noise on long-ish drives. Also, with the upgrades you're talking you probably wouldn't be looking at much of an increase between test pipe and high flow cat.

BTW - why are you worried about increasing boost? Also, would adding cams be something you would consider as engine internals? I'm not sure what definition you are using. Good luck!

I'm not saying you didn't get there thtpel, but one word of caution to the OP with posts like these. You can tune something like the above to 350 I'm sure, but I wouldn't necessarily trust the stability of that long-term.

There is the possibility of having a "strong" car from the plant. IMO it is best to assume you have an average or even below average car and hope that a good tuner can prove you wrong with a solid tune.

Kinda depends on what kind of dyno you go to also. The number 350 can be made artificially. Baseline it and then shoot for gains, not a peak number. In the end you will probably end up happier with a better performing car.

Spend 2.5k and you will have a fun car.

Intercooler
Upper Intercooler Pipe
Exhaust
Cobb Turbo Inlet
Drop In Filter
Test Pipe
TUNE

There you go, best bang for the buck...
