new clutch : slower 60' :-(

Ok well after burning the stock clutch I went ahead and got the act-hd clutch and flywheel. I put about 400 miles on them and today i just got the itch to try it out. Sadly... I just can't seem to launch it correctly. First thing i tried was holding the clutch right under the engagement point, released it slowly until it caught then let it loose. The same thing i did with the stock clutch when i constantly was running 1.79-1.9 60's. 2nd time around, less slipping and more dropping it lol. It didnt bog down, but i coudnt tell if the tires were spinning or the clutch was slipping. either way it didnt work out very well. Another 60' above 2.0. Then came that wonderful smell and i decided to call it quits for the day. so what do i need to do differently in order to get the launch down?

anyonen with an aftermarket clutch please feel free to chime in!! thanks

Only advice is to not excessively practice bad launches...

I dont think 400 miles is good enough to break in a new clutch should have waited at least 500 at the least if now more! Im surprised you didnt.... You probably didnt break it in properly, or enough and thats probably your problem..... Good luck getting it to last long not breaking it in properly...... You may need it.
